River Trip Kit List
The following is a list of the equipment that we recommend you bring on your trip. If you do not have everything required, please speak to us, as we can advise you on where to purchase or hire items you need. Please try to pack as economically as possible as all your kit will be placed in dry bags and carried with you on the rafts.
Day Trips
❖ Clothes for rafting in : (these will get wet!)
Ladies - Swimsuit, T-shirt, shorts or cropped trousers
Men - Swim shorts, T-shirt
❖ Clothes for travelling in
❖ Sun cream
❖ Sunglasses with sports strap
❖ Capped hat
❖ Towel
❖ Camera
N.B. When choosing your clothes for the trip/expedition, please try to be sensitive of local culture. Many of our river journeys go through remote areas where local hill people traditionally dress conservatively. If you dress in short or tight clothes you may cause offence and you will almost certainly gather a crowd of interested followers!
Overnight Expeditions
❖ One set of clothes for rafting in: (these will get wet!)
Ladies - Swimsuit, T-shirt, knee length shorts or cropped trousers
Men - Knee length swim shorts, T-shirt
❖ One set of clothes for the evening and for travelling in:
Long trousers, long sleeved top/jumper, warm hat, socks
❖ Sleep wear
❖ Sleeping Bag
❖ Small wash kit - biodegradable products are preferable if you have them
❖ Torch
❖ Sun cream
❖ Sunglasses with sports strap
❖ Capped hat
❖ Towel
❖ Camera
N.B. We remove all our rubbish from our campsites and lunch spots so that we leave the beaches as beautiful as we find them. Please try not to bring anything with unnecessary packaging as this makes the job of clearing our rubbish much harder.
