Over many years we have developed a team of skilled Nepalese river guides. Their shared rafting experience, both in Nepal and internationally, ensures that our company enjoys an enviable reputation for safety and service. However white-water rafting involves some risk and requires a degree of physical fitness. Rapidrunner Expeditions is a member of the NARA (Nepal Rafting Association).

Our Guides

All our Guides are members of HRGAN (Himalayan River Guide Association of Nepal) and have current Wilderness First Aid and SWRT (Swift Water Rescue Technician) Qualifications.

Equipment

We provide CE rated buoyancy aids, helmets, paddles and spray jackets and wetsuits (for colder days). You just need to bring your personal belongings, a sense of adventure and a big smile. Our equipment is regularly checked and cleaned to ensure you get the best out of your experience when rafting in Nepal.

Emergency Planning

Incase of emergency situations, all our trip leaders carry a comprehensive wilderness first aid kit including basic medicines. All Guides carry mobile or satellite phones. Rapidrunner Expeditions insures every trip and is able to initiate helicopter rescue if required.
